A facility can have extensive camera coverage and still leave its operators with an incomplete picture of what is happening. When activity needs attention, someone has to find the relevant footage, understand the situation, and give the response team enough information to act. The equipment may have captured the event, but the work of turning that record into a decision still falls to the people responsible for the site. 

QuantrusX, RMX Industries' Real-World Intelligence platform, brings those steps into a connected workflow. It runs detection and description on hardware at the customer's premises, turning camera activity into incident records for operator review and coordinated response. This puts intelligence close to the activity it needs to interpret, while preserving the operator's authority over the response. 

Working with the site already in place 

For an operator, adopting a new platform has to make sense alongside the investment already made in a facility. QuantrusX is designed to integrate with existing cameras, sensors, and IT systems, building on the customer’s infrastructure. Its current security workflow begins with camera feeds, allowing the team to use that coverage as the starting point for detection, review, and dispatch. 

Processing takes place on a QuantrusX node installed at the facility, bringing inference, the application of AI models to incoming data, into the operating environment itself. The node detects people and vehicles and generates plain-language descriptions of their activity, keeping both functions on site rather than routing video to a remote cloud service. 

From a camera event to an informed response 

QuantrusX translates camera detections into structured operational intelligence, combining visual evidence with AI-generated interpretation of the observed activity, giving operators context for assessment without first reconstructing events from footage. That context stays with the incident as it moves from review to response, with the operator retaining authority over what is shared with response personnel. 

Once approved, the incident appears on the team’s tactical map with its location, image, and description intact. Through TAK-compatible interfaces and the QuantrusX responder app, field personnel remain connected to the reviewed incident and related dispatch information, preserving the context behind the operator’s decision as the response unfolds. 

Data sovereignty begins with the architecture 

For the people responsible for a facility, understanding what is happening and retaining control of the information behind that understanding are closely connected. QuantrusX brings intelligence into that environment, keeping video recording and AI processing on the customer’s premises, with response decisions remaining in the operator’s hands. The footage stays on site, while event records, snapshots, and descriptions carry the context needed to coordinate a response. 

This architecture supports data sovereignty by keeping video recording and interpretation on the premises, while sharing event information through the dispatch workflow. The same local foundation supports continuity: live view and recording continue through an internet outage, preserving visibility at the site and its record of events. 

Security as the starting point 

Campus and physical security provide the first commercial application, supporting those responsible for a site in assessing events and coordinating an informed response.
